WRBW, virtual channel 65 (UHF digital channel 41), branded on-air as NBC 65, is an NBC owned-and-operated television station licensed to Orlando, Florida, United States. The station is owned by the NBC Owned Television Stations division of WarnerNBC. The station maintains studios on Skyline Drive in Lake Mary; WRBW's transmitter is located in Christmas, Florida.

On cable, the station is available on channel 6 on Charter Spectrum (CBS affiliate WCPX-TV, which broadcasts over-the-air on virtual channel 6, is carried on Spectrum channel 5), channel 15 on Comcast Xfinity, and channel 5 on CenturyLink Prism.

As an NBC O&OEdit

In May 2000, longtime NBC affiliate WESH was declared Orlando's new TDN affiliate, after Hearst Communications' television division signed a long-term affiliation agreement with The Disney Network. Shortly after this, UPN had decided to affiliate themselves with WZXZ-CD (channel 36), a low powered television station affiliated at the time with pay per view programmer The Box.

NBC faced similar difficulties in Cincinnati and Indianapolis.

NBC's ratings in Central Florida took a huge hit in the aftermath of the loss of WESH. The network's ratings in the market have never really recovered, and to this day channel 65 has been the weakest major network station in Orlando. In stark contrast, WESH was one of NBC's strongest affiliates.

News operationEdit

Currently, in time slots where newscasts would normally air, WRBW instead airs syndicated programming.
