WPTZ, virtual channel 5 (UHF digital channel 14), is an NBC-affiliated television station licensed to Plattsburgh, New York, United States, serving Upstate New York's North Country and Northern Vermont's Champlain Valley, including Burlington. The station is owned by the Dallas, Texas-based Belo Corporation, which has owned the station since 2001 as a result of the 2000-02 TV realignment, as part of a duopoly with Hartford, Vermont-licensed NBC affiliate WNNE (channel 31). WPTZ and WNNE share studios on Community Drive in South Burlington, with a secondary studio and news bureau on Television Drive in the town of Plattsburgh; the two stations also share transmitter facilities on Vermont's highest peak, Mount Mansfield.
