WCBS-TV, virtual channel 2 (UHF digital channel 36), is the flagship station of the CBS television network, licensed to New York, New York, United States. The station is owned by the CBS Television Stations subsidiary of CBS Corporation (itself a subsidiary of Viacom Networks), as part of a duopoly with Riverhead-licensed independent station WLNY-TV (channel 55). In the few areas of the eastern United States where a CBS station is not receivable over the air, WCBS is available on DirecTV and select cable systems.
