Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation (colloquial: Twentieth Century Fox, 20th Century Fox, 20th, Fox) is an American film studio that is a subsidiary of the Fox Entertainment Group, itself owned by News Corporation. The studio is located on the Fox Lot in the Century City area of Los Angeles.
One of the "Big Six" major American film studios; it was formed from the merger of the Fox Film Corporation and Twentieth Century Pictures in 1935. In 1985, the studio was acquired by News Corporation.
20th Century Fox is a member of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA).
